About Estatey
The organized record your family won't have to build from scratch.
A will says who gets what. It almost never says which bank, which account number, or where the deed is kept. Estatey is the record that does — kept current while you're here, and handed over the day someone else needs it.
Why we built it
Most estate planning stops at the will.
A will settles who inherits what. It doesn't say which of four banks the checking account is at, what the login is, or which drawer holds the deed. That's usually left for whoever is grieving to reconstruct — from mail, old emails, and guesswork.
Estatey exists to close that gap. You add statements as they arrive; Estatey reads them, keeps a record by category, and regenerates one printable summary any time something changes. It sits next to the will, not instead of it.
- Which institution holds each account, and the account number
- Who the named beneficiary actually is on file — the designation that overrides the will
- Where the deed, the title, or the policy paperwork physically is
- Who to call first: the executor, the attorney, the CPA
